DAY 2

Top Tier Traffic Sources

Email Traffic Method # 1 – Mailing Out To Existing Subscribers

First off, a note in about email marketing in general… Email marketing is easily the top traffic choice of members of my various websites and services. And without question, the DualSqueeze members that will have the greatest success in regard to ‘jump starting’ their DS subscribers and referrals will be doing it with email marketing. This includes one or more of the following email marketing methods, all of which are covered here in your Top Tier Traffic Sources:

1. Mailing Out To Existing Subscribers

2. Email Solo Advertising

3. Ad Swaps And Reciprocal Mailings.

Now, if you do NOT already have your own email list. Not to worry – DualSqueeze will help you build a list from scratch! Simply skip ahead to other traffic methods below. This immediate section (mailing out to existing subscribers) applies to those who DO have ‘outside’ email lists and existing subscribers.

If indeed you’re already fortunate enough to have an existing email list that you’ve built outside of this system, you can of course send traffic to your DualSqueeze website(s) by mailing out your ‘pick’ of our ready made email swipes above to existing subscribers.

You can also set up your choice of our ready made swipes as automated email follow ups… For example, let’s say you have another website or source where you’re getting new email subscribers on a regular basis. It’s a ‘no brainer’ to set up one or more of the email swipes above as automated follow up messages (in your email autoresponder account) in order to invite your other / outside subscribers into your system.

You can use either the long version ‘solo ad’ swipes or the ‘short version’ swipes when sending out to your own list (but use only the longer ‘solo ad’ swipes when running paid solo ads).

Using different subject lines with the same email message ‘body’ will get you more clicks, because different subscribers respond to different subject lines. In other words, by mailing out the same ad multiple times but with different subject lines, you’ll definitely reach more people. I would recommend contacting your existing subscribers (i.e., subscribers that you have, or are getting, *apart from* DualSqueeze) at least once per week to invite them to DualSqueeze (through your DualSqueeze website(s)), particularly if you’re getting NEW subscribers on a regular basis.

Email Traffic Method # 2 – Solo Adertising (Top 10 Solo Ad Sources Inside!)

An email ‘solo ad’ is simply where you run your email message/ad to somebody else’s list of email subscribers for a fee ranging anywhere from a few dollars to hundreds of dollars depending on your budget. All you have to do to set up a solo ad is give the solo ad seller one of our ready made solo ads from the section above after making your purchase, and wait for the traffic to be sent to your DS website(s) on the day you schedule your ad to run…Easiest traffic ever!

Essentially, running a solo ad is like renting somebody’s email list for a day. You can typically schedule or choose a day and time, and they blast your email message out to either their full list, or, to a portion of their list to produce a certain number of ‘clicks’ on the link included in your email message. Since your email message/ad is going out to potentially hundreds or even thousands of people at once, you can get a lot of traffic very quickly with email solo ads.

But be careful. You don’t wanna get too excited and buy an email solo ad to some massive list, for say, $600, and then be out all that money if the list doesn’t perform well. So what you can do especially when just getting started is to find and run solo ads for as little as $20 to $50 by only buying a certain number of clicks from the email/solo ad provider (aka email list owner)…

The way it works is that many solo ad vendors offer the option of buying ads that are only sent out to a portion of their list rather than you having to pay to send an ad to their full list. They’ll generally charge by the number of clicks on your link. So for example you might spend $50 to receive 75 clicks on your link, in this case meaning at least 75 people would open up your email message and click on the link to visit your DS site. The whole point here is that you can test the waters by doing smaller ‘runs’ to a particular list, and then if it performs well, run an ad to the full list.

You can also start keeping a record of which email solo ads (i.e., which vendors / lists) perform best for you. Ultimately you’ll have your own little ‘hot list’ of excellent performing solo ad providers that you can count on to get traffic any time you need it.

Another thing I recommend before paying for a solo ad (or virtually any kind of traffic, for that matter) is to check out references whenever possible. Find out how well other advertisers’ email ads have done, what type of product they were promoting, etc.

You can also ask vendors if they’ve run ads for the same or similar offers that you’re promoting to their list, in the recent past. It’s just common sense stuff… If a particular solo ad vendor recently ran an ad to most of his subscribers for the same offer or opportunity you’re promoting, then you may want to find a different vendor for the time being. (It really depends on how big the email list is and how many subscribers have seen the same offer. You could simply ask the vendor if you can get fresh clicks, meaning visitors who’ve not recently seen a similar offer).

Last but not least, you can very often negotiate and bargain hunt for great deals, such as double mailings (on two separate days), etc. Just by asking, I’ve received as much as a 50% discount. Heck, just the other day a vendor was advertising .75 clicks. I asked for .60 clicks and the vendor said, ‘Sure, we can do that.’ So I saved .15 a click just by asking. The worst that people can say is ‘no’ and you’ve risked absolutely nothing.

As mentioned, you’ll find ready made email swipes (ads) above. You’re free to customize them however you’d like. Again, all you need to do to schedule an email solo ad is give your email swipe to the solo ad vendor / seller that you’re running your ad with, and then wait for your ad to run on your scheduled day. Simple as that. The vendor will either provide a form through which you can submit your email ad (just copy and paste it right in), or give you some other way to submit your ad – by email, Facebook message, or whatever.

And now for the best part…

Top 10 Places To Find And Schedule Email Solo Ads

Following is our current Top 10 list of places to find and schedule solo ads, starting for as little as $20-25 for 50 clicks. This list is based directly on feedback from members of my various sites and systems…

1. Udimi.com (Hot tip: Look for sellers with good ratings and a ‘$’ symbol next to their listing)

2. Facebook Solo Ad Group # 1 (Request to join this free community of solo ad buyers and sellers)

3. Facebook Solo Ad Group # 2 (Solo ads and ad swaps community)

4. Solo Ads Directory # 1 (Reed Floren’s free solo ad directory)

5. Solo Ad Review (A concise review list of solo ad vendors)

6. Solo Ads Directory # 3 (Another great solo ad directory with helpful stats included)

7. Top 50 Solo Ad Vendors (An older listing of solo ad providers but worth checking out)

8. TrafficForMe.com (Use this when you’re ready to GO BIG.)

9. Directory Of Ezines (Charlie Page’s famous solo ad directory)

NEW! 10. Igor Solo Ads (Igor Kheifets’ popular risk free solo ads!)

Avoid this costly solo advertising mistake…

Whatever you do, do not give up after running just one or two solo ads. Don’t judge the performance of your system until you’ve brought in at least 200-300 referrals. The reason is this: solo ad quality and performance can greatly vary. You want to look for email lists that have buyers on them because this says a lot about the quality of subscribers you’ll be getting and how likely they are to take action as a member of DS. This will often be indicated in testimonials and feedback, such as provided in solo ad buyer / seller marketplaces like Udimi.com.

Email Traffic Method # 3 – Ad Swaps (# 1 Ad Swap Community Inside!)

Now an ad swap is simply where you connect with other email list owners like yourself, and where you agree to send their email message out to your list of subscribers, in exchange for them sending your email ad out to their email list. You can do this over and over again with as many email list owners (with similar sized email lists) as you can find…

There are actually entire communities of email list owners who do ad swaps and are actively seeking new list owners to do swaps with, but the # 1 community far and away is this one:

Safe-Swaps.com

Here’s a simple little template letter that you can send to prospective ad swap partners (this particular message is designed to post on Internet forums, but you can easily customize it to send via private Facebook message, email, etc.)…

Hey guys, I have a small but fresh and active Internet marketing list of [x number of subscribers], who are interested in list building and making money online. I have openings to do ad swaps with anybody with a list of approximately the same size, and who has a quality offer to promote. Mine is also a quality offer that your list will totally love. Please PM with your details and thanks!

First Name

One last note on ad swaps…

I recommend that you don’t do more than 2 swaps per week to your email list. And make sure to choose quality offers that your member-subscribers can benefit from. You can always politely turn down an ad swap if you don’t like the offer you’re being asked to send out.

So why only 2 swaps max per week? It actually works out perfectly that way, because you can reserve the other days for offers and promos – and quality content – of your own.

DAY 3

Banner Ad Traffic (125+ Banner Ad Sources Inside!)

Banner advertising is awesome because you can often ‘set it and forget it’… It takes some time up front to find good deals on high traffic sites, but once you’ve found the right deal and your banner has been placed, you’re literally on autopilot.

Another cool aspect of banner advertising is this: Lots of website owners don’t even consider the space they have – where they could be placing banner ads for a fee. You can totally take advantage of this. For example, a popular Internet marketing related site that doesn’t normally sell banner ad space might be willing to place your banner ad inside their member area or on their product download page (where their customers are) for an ‘unusually’ low fee… In other words, there’s a good chance you could swing a really good deal since such website owners often aren’t focused on making money from placing banner ads (they’re instead focused on selling their featured product(s)). I’ve found some awesome deals this way, so obviously I know it works…

Use Alexa.com to get the traffic ranking of ‘online marketing’ or ‘make money’ related sites. Look for sites with rankings that are under 200,000 if possible (the lower the Alexa.com ranking, the more traffic the site is getting). Then, find pages or areas on such sites where space isn’t being utilized, and where your banner could easily be placed. Or for example, simply ask if you could get your banner placed on the site’s member home page or product download page… Email the site owner and make an offer – whatever you’re willing to pay for permanent ad placement on their page(s). Attach the banner you want them to place, and make it as EASY as possible on their end. Once again, the worst you can get is a ‘no’. Who cares? …Just up the amount you’re willing to pay if you think it’s worth it, or move on to another website.

So how do banner ads work? Website visitors simply click on the banner ad leading to your DS website(s). Simple as that. 😉

Directly below is a list of websites and blogs that accept banner ads and in most cases list their prices for banner ad placement (you can follow my more ‘manual’ approach for finding banner ads as described above, or simply scope out the various options in the banner directory). Once you’ve found a website or blog that you’d like to place your banner ad on, click on one of the ready made banner ads above to copy the html code for that banner. That’s all the website owner should need in order to place your ad on their site…

 Free Traffic Methods

Rather than overwhelm you with dozens of different ‘free’ traffic methods, I’m simply going to share the methods that members of my various programs have had the most success with…

Now the thing with free methods is that they’re free for a reason. They generally take a lot more effort than paid traffic.

So one sort of ironic thing with free vs paid traffic is that a lot of newbies look for free traffic, when it’s actually FAR easier in most cases to simply BUY a little bit of traffic at a time when getting started online…

This is exactly why I first introduced you to paid solo ad traffic and banner ad traffic above.

If you want to get free traffic, you have to be ready to put in a much more ‘serious’ effort to get the same results as paid traffic.

And really, ‘free’ traffic isn’t ACTUALLY free. You’re putting in time – your most valuable asset. Money can be replaced but your time cannot.

But with all that said, I realize that some people are simply in very tough situations with VERY tight budgets that can’t afford paid traffic right now.

So if that’s where you find yourself, today’s training is for you!

Without further ado, here are my top 3 recommended free traffic methods…

YOUTUBE TRAFFIC

Posting videos to YouTube.com is a proven way to get free traffic, but it does take dedication since you want to build your YouTube ‘channel’ to get subscribers and regular people viewing your videos. Some people think they can post a video and just sit back while it goes viral. But that’s the exception and not the rule. It takes a pretty special video to go viral (in most cases).

The ‘tried and true’ method of getting video traffic is submitting consistent videos day by day or week by week, and in that way, building your channel over time as mentioned. With each video, provided you encourage people to subscribe to your channel, you’ll get more channel subscribers… And then with each ensuing video release, you’ll have that many more people that will see your latest video uploads. So ultimately you build views, comments, and traffic.

You can direct your viewers to your DS website(s) in a variety of ways, including links within your videos, in the description area appearing underneath your videos, doing video reviews of your website, etc. You can also ‘piggy back’ on hot product launches by giving a review of the newly launched product, but then ‘transitioning and redirecting’ to your website in a creative way.

You’ll likely want to produce videos that contain some sort of marketing content (simple, short tips work great)…and then direct viewers to click on your site link.

INTERNET MARKETING FORUM TRAFFIC

Forum marketing involves participating in forums by asking questions or offering advice – just participating in a forum how you normally would…but then in the process promoting your website in your forum ‘signature file’ (which is a little ad or bit of info. that the forum enables you to display at the bottom of all your forum posts – automatically)… Go to any forum that allows signature files (such as WarriorForum.com) and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

The key here is to participate in POPULAR Internet marketing forums (e.g., WarriorForum.com).

Some forums only allow you to link to domains that you own personally, so you may not be allowed to promote your DS website link(s) directly in your signature file on some forums (even though you essentially ‘own’ your website, you don’t own the domain name). A simple solution is to set up a free Facebook page, or a blog, and then link to either one of those in your forum signature file. Ask a forum admin or moderator if they allow signature file links to FB pages and/or blogs (always ask first if you’re not sure).

Once your signature file is set up on a given forum you are ready to start participating (noting that some forums require you to participate for a short time before they allow you to create a signature file). Remember as you begin to participate that making useless, quick posts is equivalent to spamming the forum. So you’ll want to avoid that sort of thing altogether. You need to contribute to the forum and take care in doing so. The thing is, it doesn’t pay off to make ‘spammy’ type posts anyhow, since people won’t pay attention to you if you’re not providing value – meaning they aren’t going to click your signature file link to visit your DS website(s).

A good forum marketing strategy is to browse the forum to see what people are interested in and talking about. Find out what they value, in other words. Look at what types of threads people find value in, based on how many views and comments are in each thread, and go from there.

Not only can forum marketing produce INSTANT, same day traffic… You can also get long term traffic as the forum threads you create or participate in are indexed by Google and other search engines. Pretty cool.

FREE FACEBOOK TRAFFIC

You can get free traffic by participating on Facebook pages (or in FB groups) related to Internet marketing and making money online. Note that I said participate, meaning hit and run advertising or spam of any kind is not allowed. Just as with forum marketing, you want to contribute useful information or insight into discussions going on. Then, when the time feels right, promote your DS website(s).

Of course, you can (also) get some instant, dead easy exposure for your DS site(s) by posting updates to your personal Facebook page – any time you want.

Now what I highly recommend in addition to (or instead of) posting to other peoples’ Facebook groups, is to start your own Facebook group related to DS and/or to making money online in general…

YouTube has plenty of videos on how to create a free FB group, where to find images for your ‘header’, etc. Then, instead of directly promoting your site link in other peoples’ Facebook groups, you can invite people into YOUR group… And what you can consider doing is disallowing your members to post ads, while YOU, as admin of your group, CAN post ads for your DS website(s) – while sharing traffic tips and videos, or whatever you decide to mix in as far as content).

…Your FB group, as it grows, is somewhat akin to having your own email list. Posts to your group show up on the FB ‘newsfeed’ of all your group members meaning that posting an ad or link to your website is similar to sending out an email to your list. In other words, your Facebook group members are another ‘list’, of sorts.

Note that Facebook.com routinely blocks Internet marketing related sites if too many links to a given site or domain are posted, as this triggers their spam filters. At some point, your DS website link(s) may be blocked by FB. This is actually to be expected, and there are many ways around it… If indeed your find that your site link is blocked, do a Google search on “how to post blocked links on facebook” (in quotes) to come up with a list of simple solutions.

…And that you have it – 3 fairly simple free traffic methods that you can begin implementing immediately. They DO work, if you work THEM.

Don’t forget to also make use of YouTube and all the free training and content available there regarding how to get additional free traffic.

I suggest mastering ONE free traffic method at a time. Don’t try to do multiple methods at once, or what happens is that you won’t put enough time into any single method, meaning you likely won’t succeed with ANY of them. When you focus on ONE method you can give that method the time and effort that it ‘deserves’, so to speak.
